Tacky Tides is my homage to tropical drink culture. Deviating from the mainstream Polynesian Pop and pulp monsters, I’m more interested in midcentury modern and unusual animals.
I like cute. I like kitsch. I like loud colors.
I hand sculpt masters in wax clay and then create plaster molds for slip casting. It’s a slow process for me personally and currently just a hobby, though I hope to have a limited production run in the future. Here’s a selection of works in progress.
